The guides were professional, caring and informative. Tony shared his love of the history of the peninsula and Quinlan shared his religious and history knowledge. They both brought different things to the trip but complemented each other nicely. One of the guests wasn’t particularly confident or fit, and both guides were supportive and I think she discovered she was actually able to do more than she thought and probably left with more confidence. But in any case, both guides gave her options each day which meant she still participated. The structure of the days was really well thought out - each days walk was different and gave us an appreciation for the Izu Peninsula. The ryokans and the food were top notch.
