The scenery was stunning and despite a few changes and weather impact (rain) it was all accommodated for. Our guide Quinlan was truly exceptional.. his knowledge, passion articulate delivery, enthusiasm and fluent Japanese was brilliant and what made this tour. It would not have been the same without him. We felt very fortunate to have had him on the trip. The driver and local guides also very good.. friendly and helpful. The monastery was great.. very fortunate to have experienced this .. and the walk with head Monk up to the shrine in a silent walk. I LOVED this part. Again thanks to Quinlan.
