Reviews
Excellent tour. Our guides Tetsu and Haruna and driver Sekisan were excellent and went out of their way to organise interesting activities and experiences for us in addition to the itinery, often on their own initiative. The flexible options were excellent and made it possible for me to do the trek, an opportunity I though I had missed. I really enjoyed the mix of walking and cultural experiences, and of course the good company of our guides, driver and other hikers.
Both the Nakasendo Way section and the Kumano Kodo section of our combined trip was brilliant. The 4 guides were just wonderful. Q, Kaz, Haruna and Jiro were just fantastic. I'm sure they are the reason everything runs so smoothly. Plus their knowledge and enthusiasm makes life not just an adventure but great fun too!
Great program, nice mix of soft /hard days, Haruna san was excellent and the tour guides (Tim & Kimi) were full of good information. It was also good having some short options each day as some members got tired.
The tour was impeccably planned! a big shout out to our efficient, friendly and knowledgeable guides who put it all together for us and provided the fun element! Thanks Haruna Komatsu and Nagakura Kenjiro!
