Reviews
Great to see local organizations being used for lunches, accommodation etc. Wonderful time.
Miwa guide was excellent, generous with time, info and explanations and very good group manager. Really appreciated your company support of local businesses and the cultural experiences.
The Kunisaki Peninsula is extraordinary in its own right; but this trip with Life's An Adventure was beyond any of the 4 of our expectations!! The hiking routes were each unique for the geography, the natural grandeur, the required fitness, and the opportunity for spiritual meaningfulness. Each day held a surprise cultural experience that was "real" (unstage and very local). All of the accommodations were fabulous for so many reasons....staff who went out of their way to make us comfortable, incredible meals, remarkable settings, and one-of-a-kind histories. The Japanese hiking guide was a star, gifted with perfect language skills, intuitive people "reading", deep understanding and appreciation of the terrain, and skilled mountaineering. Each day we exercised our bodies, gained some valuable history and local appreciation, and enjoyed ourselves....all-the-while NEVER did we encounter another person on the trails!! For the 4 of us, this was the trip of a lifetime!" 10 out of 10.
